Jockey Club STEM Initiatives
The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust (“the Trust”) is committed to nurturing STEM talent in Hong Kong. The Trust currently champions two impactful programmes within the higher education sector:The JC STEM Early Career Research Fellowship for Translation and Application provides comprehensive support and a unique opportunity to help them develop their research and innovation careers, expand their professional networks, and create social impact.
The Research Grants Council of Hong Kong is a Partner Organisation of this Fellowship.
The JC STEM Lab Initiative aims to nurture STEM talent in Hong Kong and promote the translation of new science and technology to social impact. The initiative provides local STEM talents with the opportunity to collaborate with top-notch STEM researchers and work on scientific research and technology transfer together.
Over 50 JC STEM Labs will be established.
